M135 or Last Touch and a couple Ultimate MF's will be all you need to remove fingerprints and dust. You can even use Last Touch as a waterless wash if you want. LT cut 1:1 with water makes a great QD and clay lube too. My experience has been that this is a better and safer approach than a CA duster. YMMVJim

Any spray n' wipe product is what you want to use between washes. I recommend:
Meguiars Last Touch
Meguiars Ultimate Quik Detailer
Griot's Speed Shine
Mother's Instant Detailer
Meguiars Final Inspection
Wipe off with a Supreme Shine Microfiber Towel or Ultimate Wipe.
I wouldn't use a Cali Duster if I were you.Matt

For example, a few weeks ago I M105d my roof and trunk lid to remove swirls. During that time, I've always used California duster before using Quick Detailer. The hood and trunk still look nice, whereas my hood I did a couple weeks before and had 2 weeks of dusting with Quick Detailer has some swirls.
The California duster just lifts all that light dust right off.
I think people should be careful when using them, but if you use them right, and on dust only, it is great.
Now I California dust a 1-2 times a day, and only use Quick Detailers 1 or 2 times per week. Awesome.

I swear by my duster for light dust and I've never had it inflict any swirls.
...And my car's black.
It's all down to how you use it and knowing when to use it I think. There are plenty of other Megs/Cali duster fans here as well.Originally posted by BluelineI own a silver vehicle and a black vehicle owns me. The black one demands attention, washing, detailing, waxing and an occasional dinner out at a nice restaurant. The silver one demands nothing and it looks just fine. I think the black vehicle is taking advantage of me, and the silver car is more my style. We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.
