  • M66 Separated

Has anyone ever seen M66 separate like this before?

I threw out almost a half gallon about a month ago and never thought to check the dispenser bottle. Well, yesterday I saw the dispenser bottle when I was in my cabinet getting out some supplies to clean up our Yukon and sure enough it was the same. So, I thought I would see what some of you thought.

I believe the M66 was somewhere between 18 and 24 months old from the time I purchased it.
Not that I would think so but, could age be a factor, especially if it was already pretty old when I purchased it? I know the most common questions when something goes bad is "did it freeze or get hot" And the answer is no to both.

Not a big deal here, just wanted some thoughts........

By the way, what you see in the picture is after I shook the living daylights out of that bottle several times!

I had some that sat in a closet in a dispenser bottle for about 2 years and it was worse than that, it had chunks and globs along with the separation!

Yeah, before I shook it like crazy several times it was pretty bad but, didn't seem to be get any better than what's in the picture.

Maybe two years is too long to expect it to stay in it's prime? Although, I have other waxes that are older that show no of deterioration.

I guess I'll have to reconsider buying another gallon.
