Re: NXT 2.0 tech wax as wheel sealant?
Using NXT 2.0 on wheels should be ok, but even if it's a pure synthetic wax/sealant, it is not designed for wheels. The things wheels are subjected to are real tough... Heat, brake dust, closer proximity to dirt/water/etc., it may not last as long as when used on paint. I would do the following (this is just me though):
1. Hot rims all wheel cleaner
2. Remove any tar or grease via tar removers or body solvent
3. Clay
4. Paint Cleaner (depends on the finish if the wheel)
5. Wax/sealant, up to 2 coats
6. As with paint, you can apply spray wax after washing your car or even UQD for light dusting
I feel those steps will ensure maximum bonding of any wax/sealant to your wheels, maximizing its protection. Or you can try megs brake dust barrier.
