  • Water spots...i think?

I've cleaned the outside windshield several times and to most eyes it looks spotless but when you spray some cleaner to the window to make it wet, this is when you notice small spots that appear but look like they disappear when the cleaner/liquid is not present. I like to use stoner invisible glass and newspapers to clean. Are these water spots? and what is the best way to remove by hand?

Had a similar problem recently which I corrected with a microfiber, Ultimate Compound and a little elbow grease.

M04 Heavy Cut Cleaner, a terry cloth and some elbow grease. I tried this on my dads windshield and it worked very nicely.

Not sure if that is even a problem.

Have you ever tried claying the exterior glass? That might take care of it. Otherwise I would still clay, then Give #4 heavy cut cleaner a go.

i would first clay it and see if that does the trick. if not, then move up to a polish, i used m105 and my PC and my windows look amazing again ...glass is harder than paint, so you will prob need something a little stronger than you would if you were doing the same to paint....also, i was told to make sure you dont use a product with a lot of oils in it, not sure if that is true or not, but that is why i used m105 instead of UC. my friend used UC on his and it worked just as good.
