  • Black fire wet diamond paint sealant???

Does anyone know if you can buy black fire wet diamond in local stores. I am detailing my dads 67 chevelle for the fathers day car show and I want to try some black fire out on it see if its any shinier than NXT 2.0. Or if anyone that is close to kalamazoo or battle creek Michigan has any that they would sell a sample to me. I have used M105 and 205 so far and it looks awesome I want the wettest shiniest possible look if anyone has better suggestions than black fire let me know what you use. Thanks of course if it gets any wetter looking than now I might have to wear a helmet so I dont start licking the paint

Try some M07 followed by NXT 2.0.

The new Menzerna Power Lock sealant is said to be similar in looks, as well as application and removal. Or so I'm told.

Yeah, I am with Tuck... Stick with Meguiars.

After your M205 put some M07 then NXT.

If you really want to try something else, I recommend the Auto Glym HD Wax.

This is the process I do on my lexus every ear.

If you want wet and meguiars I'd use m07 and then m26. If you want Black Fire I would use the "wet-ice over fire" and that would do the trick. Black Fire wet diamond is not that much wetter looking than nxt and I don't think it's much if any shinier.

            Meg's NXT 2.0 tech Wax
            Meg's #26 Hi-tech Yellow

The owner felt bad I did not charge more, stated that it was like when he bought it brand new 10 Years ago.

I'm a big fan of #26. Maybe a couple of "thin" coats then finnish with UQD the morning of.

Extremely mild....close enough to say it doesn't. But after the 205 there should not be a need for cleaners.

You likely will not see a difference between the two based on looks alone, especially during high sun. NXT however may deepen the finish slightly more and better conceal any remaining defects (which hopefully you have removed). BFWD however is easier to use and leaves a very slick feel. I'd say stick with NXT if you already have it.

What color is the car? Single or dual stage paint?

Try M07, followed by NXT followed by M26, It will make your paint look incredibly wet!

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

                          I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
                          Remove swirls my friends.

The color is black and it is a two stage paint

I would try BFWD or Menzerna Powerlock. I have heard really good reviews about them both.
