Has anyone used the quik out carpet cleaner? Or something easy to find that does not require a wet/dry vac, steam cleaner etc (I have a standard vac, however).

Anything like APC, APC+, QuickOut could be used by hand.

Trying to clean carpet on drivers side floor. I can't really tell what the last owners tracked in but looks mostly like mud or other road junk (maybe a hint of grease in there).Comment

The stuff works great, and in my opinion, better than APC or APC+ . I snagged quite a few bottles from Big Lots last time I was there
I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.
I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
Remove swirls my friends.Comment

Just cleaned all of my carpet and upholstery with the stuff.
Works amazing, and dries really fast. Great consumer alternative if you can't get ahold of APC and APC+. Seems now a days you can only find it online. Definitely good stuff though!

Unfortunatly my odd lots didn't have it so I will get it elsewhere. They did have the scotchguard for cars though. Is this any good for keeping the stains out?Comment

Quik Out is my absolute favorite Meguiar's product. It's awesome stuff.
It's still a current product in aerosol spray cans. You'll find it a many places that sell Meg's products.
It's the trigger spray packaging that's discontinued. I really prefer the trigger sprayer. There's still some old stock floating around (I bought a bunch from ADS and cleaned out my local Big Lots') but when it's gone, it's gone.
