Sorry if this has been discussed before, but I couldn't find anything on a search. What's recomended for use on the rubber door seals. Mine are starting to loose that deep black look they had when I drove the car off the lot.

For door seals you can just put whatever type of dressing you have on them and it would deffinitely darken them up some. However, if you want your seals to last a long long time applying a thin coating of silicon grease every few months will keep them from drying up and cracking.
There are several differnt kinds available, but I personally use my manufacturer's (Honda) recommended product, shin etsu silicon grease. It's expensive, but seems to perform well enough to justify the cost. Just put on a disposable glove and put a thin layer on all your rubber seals to keep them lasting many many years.Later,

GM recommends dielectric silicon grease for it's door seals. It is difficult to find. It is important to apply a thin coat because it can get very messy!

Here's a Meguiar's product that will condition the rubber and protect them while making them look better than new.

Hmmmmmm. I already have that in my arsenal. I think that I would rather use this than the dielectric grease. The grease makes a mess on the window edges. The Trim Detailer is less likely to do that.

door seals...what i do is every month i wipe them using a bucket of warm water and continue to wipe down till my sponge no longer shows dirt being picked up (used a light color sponge that is moist)...if you haven't done this than it might take a few times, then i dress with dressing..doing this once a month will keep them like new because they dont see the sun much....as for door jambs i wipe down once a week and wax once a month...dont forget trunk seals to

Here's another vote for Meguiar's Trim Detailer. I utilize this on my vehicles to do just what you mentioned; keep that factory fresh/new look year round. It works GREAT!
