DC#1 before #9?

I'm getting ready to use my NEW G100 on our Blazer which can be seen here: http://meguiarsonline.com/forums/sho...&threadid=3790

I was wondering since it's been about a year since I've applied a cleaner/wax product to it, should I or can I use DC#1 before using #9?

My thinking is if I clean the paint prior to #9, then #9 will be better at working out the swirls. Is this assumption correct?

Meguiar's #9 Swirl Remover 2.0 is a more effective paint cleaner and swirl remove than the Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner.

If you have the #9 then skip the Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner and go right to the #9 SR 2.0
