Hi guys, what do you think about this machine?

Any positive experience with it and what pads should be used for swirl removing/polishing. It has 125mm plate.

    Thanks

    Cheers!

It looks to be mostly geared for sanding from what I can tell.

I think you would be better looking at the dual action polishers like the G110V2. It may cost a bit more, but it is the right size and has the right speeds set up for the kind of polishing or compounding that you would be doing for car paint.

It doesnt matter so much if its a sander or polisher. After all the PC 7424/Megs G100 and the other DA polishers were all originally sanders until people started to use them on cars.

          • Pad Size -- 4-13/16"
          • Abrasive Disc Size -- 5"
          • No-Load OPM -- 4,000-12,000
          • Amps -- 2.0
          • Size (LxWxh) -- 11-11/32" x 4-13/16" x 5-11/16"
          • Tool Weight -- 3.1 lbs.
          • Shipping Weight -- 6.4 lbs.
Digging a little deeper into his machine I find that it doesnt contain enough power to as effective the polishers that are currently out on the market. With only 2.0 amps of power I dont believe it will be able to put out much torque when pressure is applied.

Good point there about 2.0 amps of power.

G110 and PC both have 4.5 amps.

            Any other opinions?
