the other day after parking the car in the garage, i noticed my car had some tree sap on it... it seems the sap was on the hood the whole day baking under the sun

i thought, "ok, i just waxed my car with NXT, this is gonna be a breeze removing it in the morning."

so next morning i blasted the sap with water.. ok, most of the sap was gone now but there was still some residue left. this is when i realized that the sap had reacted already with the finish!

now i couldn't remove it... tried QD and some of it still remained. hmmm...scratch-X? used it too but some of it is still there...

i'm getting OC about this already and its been bothering me for two days.

i checked the threads here and some said to use alcohol.. ok. maybe i'm gonna try that but i still have some reservations using it. its like the sap has buried itself into the finish. and i might just ruin the finish further..

    any suggestions?
