Re: California car Dusters - Safe to use?
I've had no problems with using a California Duster to remove light dust & pollen. Just wipe without applying any pressure.
Like AKIMEL - I use the Duster before I Quik Detail spray my cars.

Re: California car Dusters - Safe to use?
The Junkman is a big supporter of the California Duster, used properly. In fact he recommends the use of the duster before using a quick detailing spray.

Re: California car Dusters - Safe to use?
I use a CA Duster. As I had mentioned to someone recently, if the car has a GOOD wax barrier of protection, you never have an issue. Also no pressure and anything more then Pollen or Dust, needs washing most times.

Re: California car Dusters - Safe to use?
A great product if used correctly. As J.A. wrote, use it very lightly, just let the tips touch. Also, let a new one dry out for at least a day (longer is better)
on a newspaper to let the paraffin wax dry, otherwise you might get some harmless but ugly streaking.

Have used a California Duster for years. No problems here. Great for light dust. Just let it glide on the surface. No pressure needed. Works very well.

Re: California car Dusters - Safe to use?
My Truck Sits outside and gathers light dust every night and I dust it off with a CA car duster and have had no problems with it at all. You just lightly glide it across the surface and it picks up all the dust. I shake it when I'm done to get any loose dust off.

Re: California car Dusters - Safe to use?
I only use a quality wool duster. The super soft kind. I clean it every few uses to keep it "new" and inspect the hairs thoroughly each time. No CA Duster for me

California car Dusters - Safe to use?
I always use Quick Detailers to remove light dust, but what about *REALLY* light dust? Like 1 hours worth?
Would something like a California Car Duster be safe?
I previously believed California Car Dusters were a bad product, but some people seem to think the world of them.
What is the official take?
