  • ASD in the engine bay

This is what I ended up using in lue of Hyper dressing. Now it's been brought to my attention that this could potentially be bad for the hoses and what not. Is there any truth to this?

    Should be fine.

The usual concern with ASD would be a fire hazard if the car is turned on before the product has completly dried, and the solvents evaporated.

I think HD tends to pick up less dirt/dust than ASD. That is why I typically use it in the engine bay.

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

      I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.

Agreed. Also as Murr stated, being that ASD is solvent based, one should allow the product to dry fully before driving the car. Personally, I stick to HD.

I'll probably just order some HD in my next round of purchases. Thanks for the quick replies!
