Re: WHAT does meguais use in car show
That's a very wide open question.
Like Paul mentions, condition of the paint plays a huge role in which products are selected prior to prepping for a show. If the paint is fairly soft and in pretty good shape then something mild like SwirlX or even M80 Speed Glaze might be called up to remove the defects. If it's a new paint job and it's going to be wet sanded and compounded, then M105 all the way.
Either process might be followed up with M205 or similar to really refine the finish, and M07 Show Car Glaze might be put to use as well. NXT Tech Wax 2.0 will commonly round out the whole process.
But we're willing to bet that if you asked half a dozen guys her at Meguiar's which products and processes they'd use to prep their own car for a show, there would be some personal preferences showing up. We all seem to have our favorite products, just like you guys do, and some of us prefer using one tool over another. Nothing is set in stone here, other than we all use the products the way there were intended to be used (ie, we follow the directions).Michael Stoops

Back in the "good old days", this was it: http://www.meguiarsdirect.com/produc...T1=MEG+SHOW+16
Applied inside the day of the show.
