What products to use? 2006 Subaru

Hi,
I have detailed a few cars and have a really nice 2006 Subaru Outback to detail in a few months.

The car is black, not looked after, with several scratches and cobwebbing.

I am in Australia and have access to products but they are expensive. I am wanting to confirm what to use to bring this beast back to it's former glory.

I have already:
UC + DA Polisher
Gold class shampoo
Both basic and aggressive clay
Quick detailer
Yellow wax (about 5 years old, finding it doesn't last very long beading wise on my own cars)
Window cleaner

Need to buy:
Decent polish
Decent wax

What do you guys recommend?? The car is always outdoors and does a lot of highway driving.

I can't help much with the polish part, but I can highly recommend Nxt 2.0 Tech wax. Great protection as well.
I've heard good things about Colorx, as well, but can't personally vouch for this product.

UC will be good.

Would be nice to get a milder cleaning product though like SwirlX.

The 'great' details all seem to use 105 + 205. Should I be looking into getting those products? I am very confident on the DA and rotary but just not used to the products or what pads are the best combo's.

UC and the Da+polishing pad is a good combo. If you have enough of it, you should be able to solve almost all problems a DA can solve.

But it is strong.... #205 or SwirlX would be a good milder product to have on hand.

I can't comment on the polish but #20 looks good and seems to last on our 2004 and 1997 subarus. I'm trying 21 this weekend hoping for extra protection.

Ultimate Compound is derived from M105 but is much more user friendly when used on a D/A. Much more. Overall cut is a bit less, but then again M105 is our most aggressive cutting product and probably overkill for most "routine" detailing jobs. Heck, everybody here used to get great results using M80 & M83 in the past, and they have less than half the cut of M105! Gee, how in the world did they do that???????? (/sarcasm)

As for M205, well, if you're looking to really refine and clarify the finish after using Ultimate Compound or any other paint cleaner, then you'll be hard pressed to out do it. M205 offers a very long buffing cycle and will impart a tremendous level of clarity and gloss to an otherwise well prepared finish. Highly recommended if you're billing for the time, or just want the max out of your own vehicle.
