  • Need some help!

My husband backed into one of those bright yellow poles at the gas station. How do I get the yellow paint off without damaging the car paint?

try some ultimate compound and a lot of pressure. If you have a machine it would probably be better. If you have M105 give that a whirl if the UC doesnt work. If all else fails make him get it repainted and sign the divorce papersjk

Great! Thanks! I don't have a machine, he was supposed to buff it out before he deployed to Afghanistan but never got around to it. I guess I'll forgive him this time! :0)

ok then try some Ultimate compound first probably have to rub pretty hard with a foam or terry applicator. It might take a while, then it might leave some marring or haze/holograms. If you get the paint off and it looks hazy or mares then you may want to try going over it again with some SwirlX. Oh and maybe some pictures would be helpful to us to. If you could post a couple. Let us know how it turns out.

This link would help out with the picture
How to upload and insert an image into your posts

With the issue you have on the car, a picture would help out a lot to see how severe it is but this plan of attach could help out
                -Wash
                -Clay
-Ultimate Compound or ScratchX 2.0 (using a foam applicator pad)
                -Wax

These thread would help out with the technique needed, they mention other products but focus on the technique described
