  • interior panels...?

So a few months ago i was rear ended. THe body shop scratched my interior panels so they decided to fix them. They took them away and "re-finished them". Does this process sound real? IT looks like they were resprayed and stuff. The problem is that the paint or something is pealing from the panel. it would be bearable if it was a 20 yr old cluncker but its a freakin 2008! Anybody know whats causeing this! what do i do!

I would ask the body shop to repair it again. If it is peeling again, they should replace the panel.

Sounds like a iffy fix. Definitely go back to the body shop and have them replace them.

Sounds like it should be replaced. The only plastic you can get away with repair and refinish are smooth, painted plastic, like painted bumper covers.
2008 means a replacement panel(s) should be available.

              Which panel is it?

If it's the door panel, should be easy to replace. More difficult if it's the roof panel...

If they were repairing the rear of your vehicle, how did they scratch an interior panel?

Body shop repairs are something I wish I could do myself. After my recent bad luck with the body shop I used I don't feel like ever taking my car to a body shop again.

Gotcha. They'd be buying me new panels. I would not accept anything less. Neither should you.
