Does M205 and Deep Crystal Polish do virtually the same thing? Is one better than the other? I would be using this with a meguiars dual action, after say an application of UC or Swirlx, on a ford mustang gt BLACK in color. Any thoughts or opinions? What speed settings do you recommend for polishing vs paint correction?

Re: M205 vs Deep Crystal Polish?
#205 is a cleaner/polish, milder than SwirlX.
DC Polish, or #7 Show Car Galze, are pure polishes with no cleaning ability, that just feed polishing oils to the paint.
So if already using SwirlX, probably just need a pure polish after.
Not sure on the speed settings for a pure polish.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue

Re: M205 vs Deep Crystal Polish?
As Murr points out, M205 has some cleaning ability while DC Polish does not, it's a "pure polish". They are vastly different products, and on a black car with good, healthy clear coat paint, you might want to go with the M205 over the DC Polish.
Use a finishing pad on speed 3 to 4 with M205 and use only moderate pressure. The beauty of M205 is that it does wonders for the clarity of a good paint job, and it offers a crazy long buffing cycle, meaning it won't dry out on you and throw a bunch of dust. It is super easy to use and can really bring up the depth, gloss and clarity in the paint.Michael Stoops
