Random orbital recomendations

Hi guys,

I too am looking at buying a Makita Bo5021kx1 .

I would like to get some professional feedback on the versatility of this random orbital .

Otherwise if you think the Ryobi ERO750vk is a better choice i will go for the Ryobi.



i have ordered the 7" pads from the US. will these pads suit both of these units?

Those tools are not commonly used here in the US so we don't have a lot of feedback on them. A couple of your Aussie countrymen have discussed them here in the past, however, and the Ryobi seems to be the better choice among them.

We know you've seen that thread, and digging through it and the links given should give you a better idea as to which tool to go with.
