Re: Candle wax
Put some icecubes in a plastic bag and put it on top off the candlewax .
Let it sit for a couple off minutes until its frozen .
Once the candlewax is frozen you can simply break it and remove it from the fabric !
This method works also for chewinggum !

Re: Candle wax
Another method is to take a paper shopping bag and place it over the wax. Then, take a clothing iron, on a low heat setting, and press it gently and briefly to the bag, over the wax stain. This melts the wax and wicks it to the bag. We did this on our house carpet a couple years ago when a candle got knocked down. It worked great, just don't press the iron for too long, otherwise it cold burn."Cars make great banks but they don't pay interest"

I did this on my home carpet also, only I used an old, damp washcloth as recommended by another website. Worked like a charm.Kyla | 2006 Z71 Chevy Tahoe | 1986 Chevy Blazer dragster | 1951 Mercury coupe

My uncle has owned a proffesional carpet cleaning company for 30+ years and originally told me about the iron technique. Glad to see other people have heard of it.

Re: Candle wax
I tried the ice; didn't like it. Tried the damp towel & iron ; worked great! Now, about how wax got there... Let's just say that a bottle of wine & candle light still doesn't make a back seat romantic."DO OR DO NOT..... THERE IS NO TRY" ---YODA

Re: Candle wax
Oh ya ya ya ya... Well hey, you tried to make things romantic. Plus 10 for trying! Things don't always work out. Here's how it pans out in the wash....
Candle to make things romantic.... $8
Bottle of wine to help set the mode.... $22
Spilling wax on the interior in the heat of the moment.... PRICELESS
There are some things that money can't buy. For everything else, there's meguiar's...
I think we can make a commerical out of this.
