got some questions and i hope you got answers

Hey guys so im new here, i have been trying to detail by black 06 subaru wrx but it has some swirls and light scratches and i have tried the scratch x and almost every product at o reillys but no results by hand, so im planning on getting the uber porter cable 7424xp da but what compounds/waxes/polishes would you recomend to remove some swirls and some light scraches. Any advice would be great!! thanks!!!

We would have to ask a lot about how you are applying the product by hand?

ya i have done that on my front quarter panel and put some pressure behind the applicator pads and it seems to work alright but just doenst get the results i want

Many times, more then one application is needed to get desired results.

If you're picking up a D/A then grab some polishing pads like our W8207 Soft Buff 2.0 Polishing Pads and some Ultimate Compound. Even in the hands of a total novice you can do remarkable things with this combination. Read through this post and see what we mean.
