my car is well taken care of but i should do a seasonal correction. i use the g110 da and will also use this. what product from megs do you recommend? something that will go on and break down easily and come off easily but do it's work for minor swirls.

    thanks in advance.

I used the ultimate compand and it worked wonders to remove most of the swirls in my brothers truck. Their is also swirl-x..but i've never used it since it's not avaible in canada

Yeah, SwirlX would be a reasonable starting place.

I know a lot of people like M205, but I find myself reaching for good ol' M80. It is so easy to work with, and the rich polishing oils just bring new life to the finish. For something off the shelf, SwirlX, ScratchX, or Ultimate Compound would be good choices depending on how hard your paint is.

i have meguiars fine cut cleaner. think it would work or am i just wasting my time? when you say m80, what should i look for label wise at my local paint store? they carry all the meguiars professional lineup. but....if the fine cut cleaner will work then i'll shoot for that.

M80 or M205 would excellent choices for minor swirls. They are both easy to remove, as well.

If you already have the Fine cut cleaner, (Megs #2) then go ahead and give it a whirl. The Fine Cut Cleaner is a mild abrasive, which will correct mild imperfections with the G110 DA.

For just mild swirls, M2 will do the trick. I don't see a reason, as you already have the M2, to purchase a more aggressive product, seeing as you are only correcting mild swirl marks.

I have used M2 in the past, and it works well

I would go with #80. However if you are buying otc. Then Swirl-x would be my starting point. If not doing enough correction, Then go to the Ultimate Compound.
