foam pad particles?

am i doing something wrong here, or is this normal?

i'm in the process of using my g-100 with a 8006 foam pad and #83. The pad is starting to throw really tiny particles all over the place, and covering my car. I've been trying to use compressed air to clear the car off, but it can't get all of it off. I'm just curious because i don't want it to be a "lost cause" in that the particles end up scratching the car as i wipe it all off.


I thought i was applying too much pressure, but when i let up on the PC it's actually worse.

Hey,

Sometimes when it is a fresh pad, little particles of the foam pad come off. That stops very quickly once the pad gets used. Those particles are usually not a problem. Just lightly dust them off and continue on.
