how much time can one use it over year without making of disorder painting! thanks
Hi Fred,
ColorX is an aggressive cleaner/wax but it's not near as aggressive as compound or a paint cleaner. You should be able to safely use it as often as you like.
Note: If you're working on a neglected finish and using this product fairly aggressively to restore it to new condition, in the future, you won't have to use it as aggressively because you will have already restored the finish. That is unless you let the finish degrade again.
Remember, part of the cleaning strength of a cleaner wax comes from you, and the pressure you apply either by hand or machine.
Hope this helps...

I finally found a retailer who my sold, +83, +82, nxt wax, colorx, scratchx, software buff!pas badly but I must still find dual action polisher because meguiars DA is not distributed in Europe
Originally posted by fred has your opinion that to choose, MAKITA, BOSCH, METABO, DEWALT? orbital or dual action? it is my beginning thus before making the bad choice!
Hi Fred,
To date, the dual action polisher built by the Porter Cable company is the de-facto polisher for ease of use and consistency in results. Once you get one, here is a thread that discussion how to safely power it considering the differences in our electrical systems.
thank you for the answer, but in Luxembourg Ca functions with 220V. I have to see a merchant who proposes to me 1:makita BO6040 for 420$ turbo 2:bosch GEX 150 for 400$. in both cases it make DA or orbitale.c' is two machine in one. is what speed is good 650t/min? to excuse the precision my English it is translated with google!

Hi Fred,
I've used the Makita BO6040 and so far I would not recommend it. It works, but it's not as easy or fool proof as the Porter Cable unit. I have not used the Bosh GEX 150.
It may work for polishing paint but it's one of those things that you'll never know till you try.
I know many people have used a transformer of some type to adjust for the electrical supply in your country and the electrical requirements for the dual action polisher. This would probably be the best route to go.
