Meg’s Car Wash Options.

Hello all,

Being from the UK we seem to have two popular Megs car wash options i.e. Gold class and NXT.

As my big bottle of Gold Class will soon run out I need some help in choosing a replacement, should I stick with GC (which I really like due to good lubricating properties) or buy NXT ?

I would really like responses from A) Every day users B) Mike / Megs for technical differences.

Also what washes did people use in the past ? (dont slag them off, just tell us what they were !) For me it was AG and I only changed because I prefered the suds of the Megs.

I use NXT wash. The paints surface looks and feels great after I use NXT. I've tried Deep Crystal car wash and Armor All car wash. They were ok. The paints surface was never as smooth after washing with either of these products. I have yet to try GC car wash.

I've ordered a gallon Hyper Wash from the Detailer Line so I will try that out soon.

Gold Class Car Wash Shampoo & Conditioner is still Meguiar's premium car wash. It contains the most conditioning agents and gloss enhancing ingredients.

NXT Generation Car Wash offers excellent cleaning with long lasting suds. It also contains a sequestering agent that seeks out minerals in your wash water. It attatches to them and causes them to sink to the bottom of your wash bucket, and/or it prevents them from depositing onto your finish. NXT Car Wash offers better sudsing than Gold Class Car Wash Shampoo and Conditioner.


All Meguiar's car washes are non-detergent, pH balanced, high quality cleaning and conditioning washes.
