Can someone explain the differences between X-Press Wax and other Megs consumer waxes? At $26.00 for a gallon, it is quite economical and I was wondering if I would be compromising any characteristics that I am used to with GC+ and NXT. Thanks in advance.

Re: X-Press Liquid Wax vs. GC or NXT
I was looking into buying some M21 (want 64 oz for when I start my part time detailing business in the summer) and saw that D150 was only $26.00 for a gallon which is much less expensive than M21. I just want to know exactly what I will be giving up by using D150 instead of M21, NXT 2.0 or GC+.Tedrow's Detailing

Nxt and #21 are similar, so the comparison to D150 would be the same.
However, for a business enviroment, D150 could be faster to use, esp for plain wash and wax jobs.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue

Re: X-Press Liquid Wax vs. GC or NXT
Ran a check through the professional line forums and only found three threads even referencing D150 Xpress Wax. Mike P. said that it was designed for "fast application, even faster wipe off, some gloss and some protection." http://meguiarsonline.com/forums/sho...ght=Xpress+wax
My question is D150's relative longevity when compared to regular waxes (for lack of a better term) assuming all conditions are the same. Hopefully one of the Mike's can help clarify this issue at some point during the week. Thanks for all the help guys, especially Murr and Roughstage! Always awesome advice!Tedrow's Detailing

Re: X-Press Liquid Wax vs. GC or NXT
I bought a gallon of it as well for $25 about six months ago and still have a gallon of it. I used it once and was disappointed, tried it again and still disappointed so then I reached for the GC to clear it all up.... Left the paint hazy and dried waaaaayyyyyyy to quick resulting in being able to see the circular motion in my application. Maybe the lack of oils found in the other polishes.... BUT I will say that I keep this on the shelves as when I talk to a customer about different services they all seems to agree that an "express wax" is really not worth it compared to the extra cost of a multi step polish process.
Just my two cents
