  • New to Detailing

    Hello all,

Very very new like 48 hours new to the detailing business. Yesterday for whatever reason I got on a kick to clean my 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse as it had heavy oxidation in the front. Using NxT wash, Clay kit, Ultimate Compound, and finishing with tech wax I am very very pleased. I did this all by hand, however,I still see a lot of finishing marks and scratches is there any way to remove these? Sorry no pics for tonight anyway its late.

Also, for someone getting started what are the best tools as far as buffers. I am feeling an addiction coming along and am in need of all the advice I can get on products and tools. Thanks!!!

Well, the best tool would be the G110v2.

You can likely do a lot by hand though, it just takes more time and effort.

You would really need to work in 2-3 applications, over a 1x1 ft square at a time. So like a panel or two a day is a good goal, so that you dont get tired and have results deteriorate.

By hand, patience is a key factor. You will probably need to go over each section, numerous times. Keep your work area small.

The da I would get is the G110v2.
