      Or a hair dryer
and, if necessary, some fine fishing line gently pulled side to side underneath.

Use a hair dryer and a plastic razor blade.
        That should work for you.

Heat gun, plastic razor blade, M105 and a red foam pad on an orbital buffer is what it took to remove the dealership sticker off my wife's SAAB.

Hair dryer is the best. I had my car sitting out in hot sun for a good 5 hours and it seemed to just peal off with my finger nails. But that can leave some scratches if not done carefully.

I used a heat gun (with caution) and dental floss to remove mine. Mind you they weren't the vinyl type but rather the plastic chrome type. Then I used a little bit of automotive Goo Gone to clean up an residue.

If there is any stubborn residue left behind 3M Adhesive Cleaner works great too.
