  • Ultimate Compound vs Fine Cut Cleaner #2

The title says it all, what's the difference between the two? Are they comparable? I'm working on two cars, my daily is the worst, but today is my toy, which is not bad. I'm almost out of the #2, but have a brand new bottle of ultimate and want to know how they will compare. Also, where do these rank in comparison to ScratcX 2.0 and SwirlX of which I also have both.

UC is a couple steps stronger then #2, Scratch X is several steps lighter then both UC and #2.

    Figure it like this
    UC - 9
    #2 - 7
    Scratch X - 4
Swirl X is gonna be like a 2 or 3

M01 has a cut of 7 on the scale, not M02: http://www.meguiarsdirect.com/zoom.asp?edpZ=84834 vs. http://www.meguiarsdirect.com/zoom.asp?edpZ=84836. Swirlx is actually more aggressive than M83 which is a 6 on the scale and Scratchx is more aggressive than Swirlx. UC would still be the most aggressive consumer paint cleaner.
