Looking for recommendation

I have a roof top that is a bit oxidized. It was repainted about 5 years ago (long story). Anyhow, there is no flaking.
I am hoping someone can tell me if I can get away with some products rather than me repainting it. BTW, the white marks are tree blossom pedals.

That looks like clear coat failure to me. Do you know if your paint job was single stage or had a clear coat?

Not sure on the layers.

So I would start with clay bar and then with colorx?

You could always try a clay bar followed by a paint cleaner of some kind. I would give Ultimate Compound a try to see if it really is clear coat failure. I must say that it does look like clear coat failure though.

Go to a part of the car that doesn't have the haze - it looks like the doors are fine. Then take a clean, preferably white or light colored towel (microfiber or 100% cotton), and some polish or a compound and gently test an area.

If you get color transfer to the towel from the paint, you have single stage. If not, you have a clear coat.

If that is the case (as I suspect), then the clear coat has begun to massively fail on the roof and there isn't much that can be done to save it.

The way it looks around the edge. Looks like clear coat failure.
