With traveling to car shows and needing to prep the car while there, are there any suggestions as to what items to include in your "Car Show Box"?

Must haves:
Quick detailer, final inspection, final detail... take your pick
Glass cleaner
Dressing product of your choice.
I personally take a bottle of final detail, glass cleaner, and w dressing with me. Then have a stack of micro fibers and a few cotton towels as well. Also, I bring some disposable blue shop rags for cleaning brake dust off of wheels with the final detail. If it's just a short drive I dust it off with a car duster, if it's longer or if the car needs it I'll spray it down with the detailer, which always adds a little extra shine anyways. Also, I carry a swiffer in my car most of the time anyways to remove dust from the dash. Sometimes I'll throw an extra layer of dressing on the dash if necessary. I primarily use it for tires and under the hood if it's poped.Later,

I will be taking my '93 Ford Mustang about 200 miles to the Carlisle All-Ford Nationals. Here's what I plan to take:
Car Wash Strips (trunk space is important in a Mustang!)
Extra! cleaner (or APC+)
Quick Wax (for a quick touch up)
Quick Detailer
Gold Class Trim Detailer
Gold Class Protectant
Endurance for the tires
Bucket
Wash Mitt
Glass Cleaner
Micro Fiber Cloths
Terry Cloth Towels
Pledge Grab-It mitts for dusting the interior

In my "kit" for my 2000 Mustang, I have:
cali car duster
quik detailer
LOTS of cloths
interior cleaner/protectant (forgot name-it's been a few months for us notherners!)
Endurance tire gel
glass cleaner
gold class trim detailer
swiffer (for dust on the interior)
q-tips (for those hard to reach spots)
SUNSCREEN!
I think that's it. Like I said, it's been a few (since October!) months since I got to play with the detailing supplies, much less visit a show!

Speaking of mini vac's, I will share a car show secret for cleaning out your floors when you get there. Take one of the lint type rollers with you, you know, the kind that are made from masking tape. Roll it over the carpet and it will pick up the stuff that got on there on the way over. Takes up little space and needs no electricity.Mark

If you have a Sam's club near you, they have a package of the 3M brand super sized for a great price. My wife is always looking for ours. I can't bear to tell her that it is in the garageMark
