My wife has a 2009 Escalade with the factory 22" chrome wheels. Sometimes I take her car to the full service car wash where the "wheel blast cleaning" does a good job on the wheels. The problem is the guys do not wipe down the wheels so when I get home the chrome has a lot of streaking and water spots. What is best kind of cleaner to simply wipe down wheels to get these marks off. A dry micro fiber or towel will not work. I didn't know if Quik Detailer was OK to use? I tried to buy the Quik Wheel Detailer® Mist & Wipe, but none of the auto stores around carry it.

Re: Chrome Wheel Water Spots
Welcome to MOL D!
I spray detailer line D120 glass cleaner on a micro-fiber and just wipe the water spots away, it's not only great for glass!
Also just got through with polishing out a aluminum spare from one of my mustangs to sell on e-bay and after I got finished I sprayed the wheel down with D120 glass cleaner to remove all the nxt all metal polish residue left over after the final wipe down with a micro-fiber towel.
Will post a thread on it later day.''USE THE LEAST AGGRESSIVE PRODUCT TO GET THE JOB DONE RIGHT''
