  • Please comment my paint care process

I'm pretty new to cleaning, removing defects, and polishing the paint.
Please give advice on any unnecessary process or am I missing any thing?
I'm doing this to my cars at home, trying to improve so I can be a portable
    car detailer
    Here are my steps,

    1) Wash with Gold Class, 2 buckets method

    2) Clay entire car with repetition on some panels until it's perfectly smooth, QD as lubricant

    3) M105 or UC, depends on the paint, on G220 with Megs Polishing pad
Overlapping by 50% vertically and horizontally.
    Wipe off with microfiber.

    4) M205 on G220 with Megs Polishing pad, another pad of course.
Detail same as when applying M105/UC.
    Wipe off with microfiber.

    5) Wash the car again to wash off any residue from cleaning/polishing process and all the dust.

    6) M21 or Tech Wax on G220 with Finishing Pad.
Hand apply with applicator pad on tight areas.

    7) Wait for haze, then buff of with microfiber.

    8) Repeat step 5 and 6

    9) Wipe off entire car with M135

    DONE!!!

    How is this process?
I heard that after using M205/Polishing pad combo will cause the paint some to haze and must use M205/Finishing pad combo to finish up.
Is this necessary? since the Polishing pad + M205 is so mild already.

    Suggestion pleasee ^^

    Thanks

Some paints can be very sensitive, but on 99% of them, #205 and a polishing pad will be fine.

As for your steps, #5 may not be needed, or could just use a QD wipedown, etc. And I would avoid step 9, it is usually best to let a wax set up for a while before messing with it, like getting it wet, washing, QD sprayes, etc.
