WOW the hood looks great....i know you don't have any before pictures to compare it to but from the after pic it looks flawless....great job. I'm just curious as to how you like the PC... I was thinking about ordering one but I wanted to know your opinion on how easy it is to use. I've never used any sort of polisher before and just wanted a second opinion on any kind of training you need. I'd probably use it mostly for applying wax at first but my mom's white land cruiser sure could use some help with swirls. Did you think it was easy? How long did it take to get used to? Did you have any problems with it creating any swirls? Thanks a lot, I'd appreciate your input.

i've used my dad's 10" orbital polisher, a 7" craftsman orbital buffer that i own, and now this g-100 (PC).
out of all 3, this is by far the easiest. The velcro system alone was enough to put it over the top. Setting up and changing pads is so easy. With the others you have to fuss with stupid bonnets that won't go on all the way or fly off.
There really isn't anything hard or tricky about using this machine. Just get the right pad and product combination, the proper speed setting, and go to town. The #80 speed glaze is just doing an amazing job. I'm almost done with the entire car (i've been lazy, going inside and relaxing after finishin a panel.)

Ok thanks...I've heard positive feedback from everybody I talked to but also wanted to get an opinion on what you thought of the #80, but if you ask me the pictures speak for themselvesAwesome job with the hood I'm sure the whole car looks that way by now. Would you recommend removing with the bonnet? Or do the ultimate wipes seem to be better?

car is done....not enough light out to snap a good picture though. I'll take a better one tomorrow right after i put another coat of nxt on it in the morning.
as far as removing with a bonnet....you don't really need to because there's not much product to take off after working it in good. If you're thinking about buying one, i'd definitely say get it now and take advantage of the great price.'97 Mustang GT
