    Vistaprint.com

Make sure you look through the free options, alot of different stuff to choose from. Prices on premium are not bad either. I just got 500 more that are color, matte finish, and a caption on the back of card. Shipped was 19.43

      Re: Business Cards?

I had mine done at VistaPrint.com. They turned out very nice. I had them use my logo, and put my name in the upper left hand corner and my phone number at the bottom under my logo. I went with a glossy finish, and then the back side is just plain white (you can put stuff on the back if you want).

For 250 cards I think it was like $15 or something like that.

      Here's my logo.

Zach, this is the company I had design my logo. I recently had them design me business cards, stationery, and envelopes, too. They are awesome to work with, have fantastic graphic design skills, and won't stop until you are happy. I think I had around 8 revisions on my business cards before it was the way I wanted. They just kept redesigning and redesigning until it was where I wanted it.

Leland, have you noticed how the car in your logo is the exact same as mine? I just had the tail lamp removed. Too funny!

That's why you should use a graphic designer. They will make a one-off logo to your specifications. I have no creativeness in me. That is why I went the route I did. I wanted someone to do it for me. Once they kick out a few designs, your creative juices will start to flow. You'll be able to start directing a design towards your end goal.

The Logo Company is one of many, many graphic and logo design companies. I did a ton of research before deciding on a company. I really liked their portfolio on their website. They are also the cheapest I found and gave me the most bang for my buck. Most graphic designers charge by the revision (the changes you have them make). Most will have a package for several hundred dollars and will include 1-3 revisions. The Logo Company gives you unlimited revisions for far cheaper.

As you can tell, I really like The Logo Company. However, choose who you want. I do think you should really consider a graphic designer, though. Look in your local yellow pages under "graphic designer". Start there and see where it takes you. You'll end up with a one-of-a-kind logo/business card and not a cookie cutter design that hundreds of others have (like you'll get on sites like Vista Print).

If you want a cheap business card, you'll have to use one of their templates. After ordering my cards from The Logo Company, I went to Vista Print to see what it would cost me for the same amount of cards. After all the fees Vista Print charges (design upload for front and back, premium card stock, gloss finish, etc), it was going to cost me almost $80 before shipping. That was for only 500 cards.

However, if you use their templates and don't upgrade anything, you can get some cheap cards from them.

I don't know that ordering business cards using vistaprints preloaded cards is considered cheap. I know you need to present yourself professionally to a prospective customer, but if your business card was color matte finish and not glossy I would hope that it would not detour a customer from not using you because your business cards don't look professional enough. I like to let word of mouth and my quality of work get me my next job, the business card just is a nice way of having my phone number handy and my full name.
