I had a detailer buff my black Grand National to help remove some scatches with a rotary buffer but he did not use any polish after just waxed it. I can see some hazing and I forgot what you call it but its the lines left from using the rotary not bad just a couple of places on the hood. I am not sure if ,I am seeing swirls or not ? Should I try to use some polish on it, have used M-205 before and it looked good. I have swirl remover so not sure can anyone help me with this .Its driving me nuts. Thanks The paint shines good and looks good from a distance but in the garage under the lights is when you see every thing he did it outside .

Re: do I need to polish?
It does sound like either a less than skilled use of the rotary, or just neglecting to do a follow up step, has left you with some holograms that are only visible under certain lighting. Depending on what pad/liquid he used holograms were probably inevitable for that step - meaning he should have followed up with a second step to remove the holograms rather than just waxing.
Since you have M205 in your possession and have used it with good result in the past we would recommend you use it again here to remove the holograms. That's actually what M205 was designed for! Follow that up with a good wax and you should be all set.Michael Stoops
