hey, i got a buddy who is gonna hire me to buff out cars he buys to sell on ebay and i was wondering if the single stage paint comes out of the pads when you wash them or if it permanently stains the pad paint color. Would it be wise to pick up another array of pads and have some for just S/S and some for just B/C, or will the paint wash out and i can use same pads for both types of paint.

They will wash out pretty good actually. I was actually amazed how well they came out, you would not have known the pad was loaded with red paint.

If you're going to wash them in the washing machine, I would recommend pre-washing them first to get most of the pigment/dead paint out before tossing them in the washer.
