I have a set of AL rims for my truck and after a winter they are trashed. There black, pitted slight and normal cleaning does not do it. I assume I’m going to need to rip the wheels off and then start using sand paper and such and start removing the oxidation/pitting. Has anyone does such a maneuver before? What if any products may be useful for the finishing steps?
