Well, I just made the mistake of loaning My sonic blue ranger to my sister, the only return of the favor was washing it. Now, I have light swirling on it. After I touch up the scratches she put on it, what do you guys suggest I use to remove light swirls? I just got my G100 today

Well, if you just got your G100, and you have a couple of polishing pads, you should be in pretty good shape.

You have a number of options depending on how you want to go about it. Here's one option, and I'm sure others will have additional suggestions..........

Start by looking over the vehicle for the worst swirls. This is not always easy depending on the light conditions (unless you have a portable hi-intensity light). Make sure you look over the paint at various angles. Anyhow, once you found the worst ones..................

Try two complete passes (work it, remove it, work it again, remove it) with a light abrasive product like Meguiar's #9. If that removes them, your good. If not, step up to a slightly more abrasive product like Speed Glaze. If Speed Glaze is not completely removing them, you will probably have to go to a product like DACP.

Keep in mind that you should dedicate a pad to each product...... don't mix products on a pad.

P.S. Read all you can about using the PC first. It's not a difficult tool to use, but many people use it incorrectly. Most people move it "WAY" to fast. Move it very, very slowly, and only apply light pressure.
