  • Towels needed for removing product

Having never used these products before or even done a wax this is a question I'm not really sure about and would rather know before starting.

If I'm going to do a swirlx/polish/techwax process. Will one standard microfiber towel per step be enough to remove the product from the car or does the towel need to be cleaned intermittently?

    Well...

If by standard we refer to a Supreme Shine for instance, one should be ok for a regular car, but cant hurt to have a spare. 2 3-packs should cover you well for everything.

Now, something like the Vroom towels from Target are smaller, and might want more. I think the ADS towels are about the size of the Supreme Shines.

You can never have enough quality towels. You will need 4-6 to do each step. I like to grab a clean towel, after doing a 1/4 of the vehicle. Of course larger vehicles would require more towels.

        Very true.

Well I bought a 12 pack of vroom multipurpose microfiber towels (80/20). Are these adequate/safe to use from removing polish and wax?

The vroom towels are adequate for product removal. Just make sure to cut off the tags. I have a few dozen vroom towels myself, although I still use only Supreme Shine and Ultimate Wipe towels for my paint.
