  • Looking for some info on these products before i order

I just detailed my car today. and used the deep crystal polish. i didnt noticed a big difference when i was applying it, i guess because my car is brand new. anyway i was hoping to find something to give it a more deep wet look. i found this on amazon: i dont have a buffer. so i dont know if i can use this or not

im not sure which soap to get. Iv been using the purple bottle. whats the difference between the different soaps?

this weekend im going to detail my wifes jeep wrangler. she has a black soft top. any recommendations on how to clean it and get it back to looking black? its just dirty and i cant get it cleaned

for the life of me i cant find the foam applicator pads anywhere except on Meguiars website. i wanted to details my wifes jeep this weekend and i need some more foam pads. anyone know where i can get some local?

You can certainly use M07 without a buffer.

DC Polish and M07 are essentially the same product; one is simply in the consumer line while the other is in the professional series.

The purple bottle I assume is Deep Crystal Car Wash. You would have to be a little more specific with what washes you want to compare to recieve the best advice. In general though, cleaning ability, sudsing ability and lubricity are the variables.

You will not find the Meguiard foam pads at a retail store. I have still yet to find a store that carries them. However, took a run over to Autozone today and picked up some of their foam applicators (they are yellow and black and oval instead of circle) not expecting much. I needed some more applicators as I was detailing my sisters car. Anyway, to my suprise, these Autozone applicators are better, IMHO, for applying the paint cleaners becasue you can apply more pressure to more surface area. They are also thicker so you can add additional pressure without worrying about fingertip marks.

No experience with any kind of top like that, sorry.

What Coopers has said it best, all I can add to it is the soft top. I have used a soft bristled brush with an all purpose cleaner. Then used M40 on it. It brought the black out and I was able to clean it.

M07 Show Car Glaze has more polishing and TS oils than Deep Crystal Polish.
