  • Drying polishing pads in the sun?

Can I leave my polishing pads out in the sun to dry for a few hours after washing them? the sun dries fast but seems kinda harsh..

I did this last summer and it worked fine. I just put a paper towel underneath the pad and placed them on a table in the sun.

It should work with no problems. Just make sure air circulates all around it.

I see you're from S. Cali... During the hot summer months, leaving the foam in direct sunlight may be harsh, therefore I might just let them sit in the shade if it's 90+ degree's out. At least if the pads are left out in the open, the foam will have a chance to aerate, & the water will evaporate. In S. Cali, the air is dry during the daytime, therefore, combined with temps ranging in between 80-90+ degree's, the foam should dry very quickly.
