I've been reading where some of you use both GC and NXT 2.0 for a topcoat. If I wanted to use both on my truck, which one should I put on first, GC then NXT 2.0 or NXT 2.0 then GC?
The general consensus is NXT 2.0 then GC. Some people cite the fact that NXT 2.0 has some cleaners in it that will take off the GC, but I've seen people from Meguiars say the amount of cleaners in NXT is very minimal. Either way, the common method is NXT 2.0 then GC.
The reason, or main reason, people use two different waxes/sealants is because of the look they produce. So people usually put a coat of NXT 2.0, then a carnauba of choice.
There's no reason to become alarmed, and we hope you'll enjoy the rest of your flight. By the way, is there anyone on board who knows how to fly a plane?
Definitely NXT first to act as a long life protectant. Carnauba over it as a "beauty wax". Adds dramatic depth to the right colors. Reduces the "plastic" look of a polymer and it's particularly effective on red and I've also heard black.
