  • G110v2, is it hard to get damaged?

Is the G110v2 a delicated machine? Is it easy to get malfunctioning and issues? Since it seens impossible to get one here, I was thinking about getting it on ebay, I found a guy that ships it to Brasil and the shipping cost is good. err.. Is ebay safe to buy this sort of things? Can I be tricked?

    This i the seller:

Your seller is a power seller with 99.9% Positive feedback on over 7000 trasnsactions. The seller is reputable.

If there are any disputes, eBay offers avenues of resolution. See this link: I didn't receive an item I paid for. Does eBay offer insurance?

If the tool is new in box, the manufacturer's warranty should be covered if it breaks.

The price on his machine is a bit high. With shipping to Brazil, it's about $250. If he's the only one who can ship to you, then I guess that's what you'll have to pay.

Have you checked with Rick at ADS? He has excellent customer service and might be willing to ship to you. His machine price is a lot lower than the one you're looking at. http://www.autodetailingsolutions.net/g110.html

We've had the G110v2 in at Manheim Auctions for quite some time now and they have been pretty much trouble free there. If Manheim isn't killing them, you sure won't. See A Little Field Trip To Manheim Auctions for a little info on what they do at this huge reconditioning facility. 375 cars per day, and the G110v2 gets one heck of a workout!!

William, it is U$250,00 + regular taxes, that is 60% of the total price, = U$400,00 for the G110v2, but since the regular G110 is U$400,00 here, I guess I' ll have to buy from him, since, I didn' t find anywhere else to get it.

Are you going to pay him by PayPal? PayPal offers even further protections than ebay if you were not to receive the product or if it was damaged. If you don't have a PayPal account, it is easy to get one.

That's pretty steep, but it does make taking care of the car faster and easier.

Yes. I am going to pay him by Pay Pal.

I also talked to the seller, so it is U$192 + U$42.. let' s say U$230. But he told me he can declare a lower total price on the fiscal note, so I pay the 60% taxes for let' s say, U$130.. It seens to be a better deal, right? because in the end I would pay like U$300 with taxes included

If you want to do something along this line, what I would do is ask the seller to run a special ebay auction just for you, with a price at 149 and the balance in shipping/handling. Then reflect this in the packing slip that goes in the box.

Since the item is sold in the states for 149 at quite a few places, there would be no question on this, and it would be above board, since what you are really paying extra for is the fact that he ships internationally. Whatever you do, you don't want the stated customs value to be different from the packing slip, because with an import duty that high, I am sure a lot of the boxes get opened by customs. You don't want to be getting in trouble, I am sure.
