I haven't touched my '88 daily driver since November and today was the day to deal with the baked on dust etc.
1. Used MEGS Super Soap and Gilmour Foam gun and foamed the dry car.
2. While the Megs Super Soap was doing it's thing, my Boar bristle brush had been soaking in ONR.
3. After about 5 minutes, I used the the 2 bucket method and the ONR to lightly wash down the paint with the brush.
This got rid of most of the foam and I then used a very light spray of water on the wheel wells and crevices.
4. Then I re-ONR'd to ensure all the Megs Super Soap was off and dried the paint with 2 MEGs Waffle Weaves .
5. Megs' wheel detailer
The NXT 2.0, topped with 26 and fortified with Ultimate Spray Wax was still there from November.
My procedure was limited by water restrictions and inspired by this forum. I did my own thing based on all I have read here and my own mistakes. Thanks guys.
[Any tweaks definitely appreciated.]
