I'm new hope I'm not stepping out of line to bad but my Trailblazer's grey carpet needs serious hep. The badf part is it seems to be mostly sand and mud. Any ideas.

Start with a good vacuuming. Before you run the vacuum, use a stiff bristle brush to break up and loosen the dirt.
If the carpet is still dirty, lightly spray it with APC (All Purpose Cleaner) and dip the brush in some hot water and scrub the carpet with the wet brush. Then use a wet dry vac to draw up as much of the moisture as you can. Rub a clean, dry terry towel over the carpet to dry the majority of what ever is left over. If the carpet is still a bit damp, leave your windows cracked to vent the car.
