  • Products to use on new car?

I just bought a 2010 Dodge Challenger. The car is white and of course came with light marring due to whatever prep work the dealer did and whatever the car went through in travel from plant to dealership.

I should explain I'm into my second year of detailing and have been experimenting with all kinds of products and machines. I've had some success on spare body panels and my old F150 that I practice on. People compliment my work..of course they don't see what us car crazy people see on paint.

So I have a number of products at my disposal. M105/205 M80/M82, Number 5 new car glaze, Ultimate Compound, Adams SHR and FMP etc. Pads of every color..Porter Cable DA or Makita Rotary

So what do guys think I should use?

Start with the #205, and see if it fixes it up.

If not, you may need to move to something stronger.

The 205 sounds right and start with the DA before moving up to the rotary.

white pad to start and then move up to orange and yellow before step up to 105?

Also a quick question about the new car glaze. Would that be a good step before NXT?

I dont know the LC pads, but certainly a mild polishing pad, nothing cutting.

The #5 is optional, but can certainly be done.
