  • What to use on my vehicle's ceiling?

Hi MOL, I have a newbie question and was hoping for your expert advise.

I'm currently planning to have my vehicle's interior detailed. Now my problem is, while I'm familiar with cleaning my carpet with sponge and dry rags(lint-free, of course) and APC, how about my headliner or ceiling? It does have a texture finer than the carpet and I'm afraid that I might damage the headliner if I agitate it with a coarse tool say a soft bristle brush.

    Any suggestions?

    TIA

Does it need cleaning? If not, dont do it.

If it does, then just take a slightly damp towel, with some APC on it, and dab gently all over it, then dab with a dry towel. Dont get it wet, just let it dry, and repeat another day if needed.

If rubbing a section that needs attention, be gentle.
Light pressure and patients is the key

Headliners are tricky. Damp cloth and very light pressure is about all you can do.

I've had good luck with a very small amount of APC on an MF and gently rubbing the areas that need cleaning. I find it best to spot clean only when it comes to the headliner.
