What is the best way to remove leftover vinyl graphic residue (glue)?

Meguiar's Body Solvent off the Detailer line, 3M Adhesive remover, Goo-Gone (test first). There's more, these are just what came to mind.

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

      Also WD-40 is good.

Wet the affected area, spray liberally some citrus degreaser at full strength (as a citrus based will not harm the paint and it is getting diltued anyway with the water from the affected area) and slowly see if the adhesive loosens. You may need to let it sit for a minute or two. I tried this on a sticker of my moms car and it worked perfectly. Sorry I didn't take before and after pics to prove it though. Good luck.
