  • Where to buy good MF towels locally?

Not sure if this is the correct place to post this....

I used to get my MF towels from Target (Vroom brand) but they seem to have discontinued the ones I've used, not sure of quality of what they have now. They don't feel as soft anymore...I need a few this weekend and not sure what to buy or whats good.

Walmart sells some decent towels in 3 pack rolls. I forget the brand name, but they're 16"x16" gold towels with a similar plushness to Supreme Shines

I use the Green Vroom MF's from Target that come in the 8 packs and they are as plush as the Supreme MF that came with my Meguiars Smooth Surface clay kit

If you have access to a Sams Club than go there. Mine sells packs of 24 for $10.50 and they are pretty good quality. Comparable but a little better than the blue/white ones that walmart sells.

I don't think I remember green ones, have to make a trip there.

The best place I've found to buy inexpensive, quality MF is from ADS. Through their bulk program you can buy a dozen towels for $10.

These towels are a bit smaller than the SSMF, but I actually prefer that. I find that when they are folded, my hand covers more of the back, so I don't have the edges bunching up on me as much.

I feel like you can never have enough MF on hand, especially if you own multiple vehicles so the last three orders I've made with ADS, I've added a dozen towels. I think I have just enough now to wash both of my cars.

Most places I have found locally that have good quality microfiber were rather inexpensive, more than what it costs to buy SSMF online. Big Lots might be your best shot at something inexpensive and decent quality locally.

Those are the ones. I have bought towels at Auto Zone in the past that were ok for a one or two time use, but I noticed that they became a little harsh after a couple washings. I quit using them on the car and put them in the house hold cleaning rag pile. My wife raves about how well they clean glass

While it isn't locally, you can get these online for a buck each with free shipping. They aren't the best microfibers but decent quality.

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

                      I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
                      Remove swirls my friends.

I have heard good things about the vroom towels. I always want to pick some up. But every time I leave Target I forget. lol.
                        quality creates its own demand

The only green ones I saw were labeled for glass. I ended up picking up the orange MF Vroom towels, we'll see how they do.
