I was just wondering which is best.

Re: lambswool wash mitt vs microfiber wash mitt
I tried wool, and did not like it. Might have gotten a cheap one, but ehhh....
The Meguiars MF ones, and the Target (you probably dont have the store there) brand Vroom MF ones have both been great for me.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue

Re: lambswool wash mitt vs microfiber wash mitt
I guess the few swirls that I noticed on my car was caused by the mitt I' ve been using, it' s are good, but not great, you know? Do you believe that there is no microfiber or lambswool mitt to sell over here?
I am thinking about getting the Meguiars MF mitt on ebay if the seller ship them as pre-paid item, from fisical to fisical person, or else I ' d have to pay like 40 dollars for two MF mitts.
It must be great to live in the US and to have all you need in a local store!

Re: lambswool wash mitt vs microfiber wash mitt
I love the Meguiar's microfiber wash mitts. I can get them for about $3-4, and I prefer them to $15 lambswool mitts I have. I find that the lambswool just lays down and drags too much when wet.
The lambswool feels fantastic when it is dry, but it seems to create too much surface tension for my liking when wet.

I have family in Britain who asked for some of those new high tech dri-fit kind of shirts, that are much cheaper in the US....
Had to clarify if they wanted the under-shirts, under-wear, compression shirts, long sleeve, short sleeve, turtle necks, pull-overs.... and all variations in between... They just said "oh, a couple things to wear outside"
As I said to my Mom, who was doing the shopping for them, I dont think they understand what is here, and the options....2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue

Re: lambswool wash mitt vs microfiber wash mitt
Have used both and prefer the lambswool mitts for paint. I cut the cuff off them and use the mitt like one would use a sponge or cloth. I just like the feel of them. That said, a microfiber mitt will last much longer. The one I have for my chrome wheels has taken a beating and keeps on ticking whereas the lambswool will eventually crack and lose wool.

A top quality version of either is what you want to look for. As with anything else in life, there are both good and not so good versions of each. Above all though, make sure to wash the mitt regularly so it stays clean.Michael Stoops

Most stores here don't carry a lot of the Detailer Line or Mirror Glaze line. Of course the shipping isn't near as bad
As for your question, I think that I prefer MF to wool when the car is very dirty. The MF seems to pick up and remove more of the grime. If the car isn't very dirty when I wash, I like the wool because it holds a lot more water and I can wring it out on the panel I'm working on if I need a little more water.

Right.
I like the MF mitts much better.......
This Poll shows a lot of people do like the lambswool. Check it out you might find some helpful info there to help you decide.

Re: lambswool wash mitt vs microfiber wash mitt
Michael, I think superior is also a relative term here. The SSMF is superior for wiping paint, but you won't catch me using one to wipe dressing off tires. That's what the cheap terry towels are for
At least when you don't work for the supplier and have to pay full retail that is
